Christ in the Gospel is a magnificent little book that has interwoven all four Gospels into one, with each section annotated so that one can easily find the reference in the particular Gospel. One reads the entire life of Christ, from the Gospels, in six months and then begins over. Short study questions in the back help the reader to focus on the important information in the Gospel passage for the day and then to apply it to one's life. The book is illustrated with the original black and white, finely drawn illustrations that were in the original 1949 edition published by the Confraternity of the Precious Blood. This book is an exact reprint of that edition. Imprimatur and Nihil Obstat.
"I been reading this book daily for the past 50 years and have worn out several copies. It has helped me to know the Gospels intimately." -- MPN

I'm currently using this pocket-sized book for my daily scripture meditation and love it! It is another manual of the Confraternity of the Precious Blood and is equally inspiring and well written. It is certainly helping me to become closer to the Christ in the gospel!
