Do you know that, for the past 15 years, the Confraternity of Penitents has operated Vita Dei houses where Catholic men and women discern religious vocations or other life changes? The following religious vocations were fostered at the Confraternity of Penitents Vita Dei Houses:

Men and women at Vita Dei Houses pray, eat, and fellowship together. They also do some community outreach. Pictured are men and women from the Vita Dei Houses performing Outdoor Living Stations of the Cross on the Friday's of Lent and Christmas Caroling on the Sundays of Advent.

Consider honoring a priest in Mary, Mother of Priests Chapel in Guadalupe House. For information ($180 per sponsorship), see this link. At this time, all priest sponsorships will go toward the roof and gutter repair.
2. Furnace and Air Conditioner Replacement at Annunciation Women's Vita Dei House. The 37 year old first floor furnace in Annunciation Women's Vita Dei House died. The first floor air conditioner, which is the same age, is breathing its last. Todal replacement cost $10,578). Collected as of September 16, 2025- $3,845. Needed $6,733.
3. Asbestos siding removal at Saint Joseph's Men's Vita Dei House Hermitage. Saint Joseph's Men's Vita Dei Hermitage can't be insured until the asbestos siding is removed. Total estimate for removal of siding and replacement with vinyl siding: $21,000.
