Saint Francesco Maria da Camporosso (1804–1866) was an Italian Capuchin lay brother known as the "holy father" (Padre Santo) of Genoa, celebrated for his charity and devotion. Born Giovanni Croese, he served as a questor (beggar) for his friary for 40 years, dying from cholera in 1866 while tending to the sick.
