How to Pray the St Therese Little Flower Rosary Chaplet
Chaplet of Saint Therese, the Little Flower, Prayed for the Missions
24 beads, each one representing one year of Saint Therese’s earthly life.
On the introductory bead, pray, “Saint Therese of the Child Jesus, Patroness of the Missions, pray for us.”
On each of the 24 beads, pray, “Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. Amen.” To honor the Holy Trinity for giving us Saint Therese in her 24 years on this earth.
To end the chaplet, pray while holding the medal, “St. Therese, the Little Flower, please pick me a rose from the Heavenly Garden and send it to me with a message of love. Ask God to grant me the favor I thee implore and tell Him I will love Him each day more and more. Amen.”
It is commonly believed that Saint Therese grants the sign of a rose to those who practice this devotion during a period of nine to twenty-four days, as a proof that the petition is granted. The sign of a rose or some other visible sign is not always evident, but many persons have received special graces by reciting this chaplet.
