This book is for those who want more in prayer than what they were taught from the pulpit or sunday school. It is setup for eight different prayer formats: Imagination in prayer; Lost in God; Praying with nature; The Friend within; Dream on; The Secret Room; The work of God; and a companion for the journey. Each of these forms of prayer are based on saints over the past many centuries. Although only 64 pages this book is very thorough and gives you all you need to get started, even how to pray like the saint who promoted this form of prayer. Terry Matz, the author, explains how to lose one self in God.and how use your dreams in prayer or how to develop a relationship with nature in prayer. This book is to help the reader get started in the particular prayer form desired and then move on to read more by the particular saint on that form of prayer to grow deeper into the prayer and thus into God in the special way God is leading you. This truly is a very powerful book and not a rehash of prayer we have all heard a million times. If your have been searching for a more personal form of prayer; one you can personally relate to; or if you have given up on personal prayer that really touches God and gets a response; grab this book and search out the form that fits you.
