The stories are arranged in chronological order to portray the progression of literature through the ages. A few of the classics are The Sleeping Beauty in the Wood, Little Red Riding Hood, The Story of the Bold Pecopin, Herodias, The Child Spy, and many others.
This hardcover book is a collectors item from 1928, the binding and cover are in good shape but have a few nicks on the edges. There is yellowing and wear on the pages and edges due to the age of the book but no markings or tears are seen on the pages inside.
