Blessed Luchesio Modestini of Poggibonsi, along with his wife Buonadonna, were the first penitents that we know of to be accepted by Saint Francis of Assisi into the Franciscan Third Order, then known as the Brothers and Sisters of Penance. This prayer card, the only one of its kind, features an ancient painting of Blessed Luchesio and the prayer from his feast day April 28.
