These volumes contain the proper offices for the Franciscan saints celebrated throughout the year. The various Orders and Congregations in the Catholic Church are permitted to celebrate Masses and the Divine Office in memory of certain saints and blesseds within their Orders and Congregations. Many of these are not celebrated in the general Church calendar. Using these Office books will enable you to commemorate the lives of and solicit the prayers of such saints as Blessed Angela of Foligno, Saint Hyacinth of Mariscotti, Saint Francis Mary of Camporosso, and many others with whom you may like to make acquaintance. The Offices are approved by the Sacred Congregation of Divine Worship for all Franciscan Orders, religious and lay.

bringing Franciscan flavor to LOTH
I purchased the Proper Offices of Franciscan Saints and Blesseds in the LOTH to enhance my prayer life as a professed member of the OFS as well as the St. Joseph guide. I've found it to be a good tool for me and highly recommend it. The same review applies to. Vol. II- IV, which I also bought.
