Saint Vincent Ferrer was a Spanish Dominican friar, philosopher, and renowned preacher from the late 14th and early 15th centuries, known for his powerful sermons on sin, death, and judgment, his miraculous healing abilities, and his missionary work across Europe during a time of church division. Born in 1350 in Valencia, Spain, he entered the Dominican Order in 1367, served as a notable figure during the Great Western Schism, and died in Vannes, France, in 1419, leaving a legacy as a great preacher and missionary, and is known as the patron saint of builders.
