White Cincture Cord for Third Order member Tertiaries (Franciscan Benedictine, Carmelite, etc.). Soft nylon braided rope. 1/4" thick. Order by the foot. Can be worn under clothing.
You may add your own knots or ask us to add them for you.
Cincture is cut to fit your body shape and desired length.
Ends seared to prevent fraying.
To determine how much cord you need.
1. Measure your waist. Record the number in inches.
2. Decide how long you want the cord to hang down and measure from waist down, Record number in inches. Multiply this by 2.
3. Decide if you want knots in the cord. Add 2 inches for every knot desired.
4. Total all the inches.
5. Add 12 more inches to total,
6. Divide the total inches by 12.
7, Round up to next whole number.
8, This number will be the number of feet you need.
Example:
Waist: 42"
Length to hang from waist down leg: 25" per leg. Multiplied by 2: 50"
3 knots x 2 inches per knot: 6"
Additional 12" - 12"
Total inches: 110"
Total inches 110" divided by 12" per foot equals 9.17 feet.
Round up to next foot: 10 feet. This customer would order 10 feet of rope.
