What better way to begin the day than by offering it all to Our Lord? Praying Saint Therese's beautiful morning offering is like holding her hand as you journey closer to Jesus day by day!
Therese was 12 years old when she learned about the practice of the Daily Offering. 41 years earlier and 400 miles away from Lisieux in the south of France Fr. Francis Xavier Gautrelet had written the Morning Offering as the founding prayer for his Apostleship of Prayer. This is what planted the seeds for St. Therese's great spiritual doctrine The Little Way!
We don't know how many years later it was that Therese wrote her own love note to Jesus in the form of the morning prayer shared here on our St. Therese: Morning Offering Prayer Pillowcase. But we do know that for her prayer was a way of walking with God. When we feel frightened or alone on our journey we can ask for the intercession of St. Therese. She knows the path to Light and Truth holds difficulities and danger. In addition to praying her eloquent morning offering we can ask St. Therese for her prayers to help us trust in God as she did, and to walk with Him like she did, on the path to true joy and happiness.
Morning Prayer by St. Therese:
O my God ! I offer Thee all my actions of this day for the intentions and for the glory of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. I desire to sanctify every beat of my heart, my every thought, my simplest works, by uniting them to Its infinite merits; and I wish to make reparation for my sins by casting them into the furnace of Its Merciful Love.
O my God! I ask thee for myself and for those whom I hold dear, the grace to fulfill perfectly Thy Holy Will, to accept for love of Thee the joys and sorrows of this passing life, so that we may one day be united together in Heaven for all Eternity. Amen.

What a great idea ... prayer pillowcase! This is intended to be a gift for an adult who happens to be a Secular Carmelite so St. Therese was particularly appropriate! Also appreciate the packaging and care instructions.
